Help - User creation

User creation

Figure 1: Create user

Figure 2: User created

Figure 3: User activated

The first step to use the system is to create a user.

You should access the create new user page (Figure 1) and fill in the form. With asterisks and a different style, the page will point to you which fields are required.

In order to simplify the registration process, the user name will be the same as the e-mail address. You should type in the same password twice to avoid typing errors.

Please write only the first letter of your name and last name in uppercase.

Specifying your language preference is very important because all the e-mails you will receive from the system will be translated to the language of your choice.

When you have filled in the form, press the button to send it. The page will show you that the user has been created and that the system has sent an e-mail to your address with the instructions to activate the user (Figure 2).

User activation

To ensure that the e-mail you typed in is correct and that you own it, the system will send you a confirmation e-mail message. The instructions are very easy to follow, so you will only have to enter the url that you will see in the message. After visiting this address the user will be active (Figure 3) and you can start using the system.

Modifying the user data

After the user has been created it will be possible to modify the data you typed in before (for example the preference language). To modify them you should click on the "Edit profile" button or click on the button with your name, close to the language selection display.
