The abstracts of papers, round tables or posters must be sent via the conference web page to the chair of the panel in which they want to participate before 20 November 2009. Their acceptance or rejection will be communicated around 21 December.
In order to send a proposal the members of AESLA must register in the web page of the conference (http://webs.uvigo.es/aesla2010) and fill in a form with personal information about the author, and the title and abstract of the paper, round table or poster. The text must not exceed 500 words (tables, footnotes and references not included).
The papers accepted for presentation will be allotted 20 minutes of presentation plus ten minutes of discussion.
The round tables will generally consist of 3 papers related to a common topic. They will be proposed together under the same title by the table chair. Each participant will have half an hour to present his/her paper, and this will be followed by a short debate. The proposals in round tables follow the same guidelines as the papers in the general session (see above) but they must specify the name of the chair and the general title of the round table.
The posters will be exhibited during the entire conference, but time will be allotted in the conference program so that participants can discuss them with their authors.
Once the abstracts are accepted, their authors must send the panel chairs a copy of the final version of their papers (around 2,500 words, references included) before January 22, 2010. The papers will be evaluated in order to decide whether they are accepted for publication or not. The texts must follow the style guidelines available at http://aesla2010.tucongreso.es/en/aesla2010-style-guidelines.
The names of the chairs of the panels to whom abstracts must be sent via the web page of the Association are available at http://www.aesla.uji.es/paneles.
